NYC Smooth Skin Loose Face Powder

I think loose powder is a MUST! It sets your makeup. It holds it in place. It makes your makeup last longer. It absorbs moisture from your face giving it a shine free look and it gives you a really flawless look. I can't live without loose face powder and i always use the colour translucent. This is the product i have been using for the past two months now. I have honestly had no complaints what so ever. It is ace. It does the job. It comes with a sponge aplicator which i don't actually use. I use a powder brush. (We shall come to that) It has been fab.

Now today i was in selfridges and i came across Illamasqua's loose powder. I was curious how different the two actually would be. I have to say i was pretty impressed with this powder. I did automatically notice the difference in texture as this powder was much softer and lighter. It makes your face appear bright yet it blends in perfectly.
I just had to buy it

Conclusion: I love my NYC powder as it has never given me any complaints and is an ace value for money. I would highly recommend it however if your willing to spend a little more then illamasqua loose powder is fab too.
Now the next item we came across was the Illamasqua
Then we went to superdrug where we found this GOSH powder brush for £9.99. It was soft but obviously not as beautifully soft as the illamasqua one. However it was quite good value for the price and it was exceptionally soft. It did the job and it was thrown into the shopping basket.
Conclusion: If you have a few extra pennies to your name then the Illamasqua powder brush is a MUST! However the gosh one is a pretty good second choice.
