In mathematics and the arts, two quantities are in the golden ratio if the ratio of the sum of the quantities to the larger quantity is equal to (=) the ratio of the larger quantity to the smaller one. The golden ratio is an irrational mathematical constant, approximately 1.6180339887. Other names frequently used for the golden ratio are the golden section (Latin: sectio aurea) and golden mean. Other terms encountered include extreme and mean ratio, medial section, divine proportion, divine section (Latin: sectio divina), golden proportion, golden cut, golden number, and mean of Phidias. And the amazing thing is that all shapes with the proportion who are in the Golden Ratio, must have two essential elements, namely the Strength and the Beauty. Let's take a simple example, i.e. Emma Watson's beautiful face. Then take only one section, namely: the Length. The above line A, which represents the length of Emma Watson's jaw line, if divided by 1.62, will yield a line with length as the line B and the line C. And if the line B and the line C-shear sliding on Emma Watson's Face, apparently representing the width of Emma Watson's chin and eye.

The above example is just a very simple example, in which the sampling is very few, i.e. the line length of A, B, and C. It is believed that God who created woman's beautiful face, with its features in a very large number, certainly has the Golden Ratio. Hence the Golden Ratio is also called. the Divine Proportion.
